The experience

In 2012 in Reus Angie Rodríguez (vocals) and Joan Casellas (electric guitar) started revising some songs they were both interested in. Thanks to their fine chemistry and the inclusion of Iván Sáez (baritone saxophone), the trio starts having some expectations for the future. Since then, friendship, curiosity, a high level of self-discipline, and persistence became their travel companions. After two years of work,

among where they exchange talks and rehearsals with gigs that allow them to check the outcome, it became clear that they had to record their first album. The unusual combination of these three instruments (vocals, guitar, and baritone saxophone) offers a collage of textures the trio model like a craftsman in his workshop. ARTRIO deconstructs every single cover version they performed to implement its vision and tools from the core.
