Casa Navàs has been the inspiration this year for a very special Easter creation. The historic Padreny pastry shop in Reus has produced a chocolate Easter cake inspired by one of the most emblematic buildings of Catalan Modernism, in a collaboration that brings together heritage, tradition and craftsmanship.

The cake reproduces the façade of Casa Navàs with a high level of detail, respecting the most characteristic architectural elements of the building designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The piece has been entirely handmade, using high-quality chocolate and techniques typical of artistic pastry, allowing the silhouette and volumes of the building to be faithfully recreated.

This initiative was born with the aim of bringing heritage closer to the public through a tradition as deeply rooted as the Easter cake. The collaboration with Padreny, one of the oldest pastry shops in the city, strengthens the link between Casa Navàs and local commerce, highlighting the importance of keeping traditions alive while reinterpreting them with creativity.

The cake has been displayed in the pastry shop window, where it has attracted great interest from residents and visitors, becoming an additional attraction during the Easter holidays. This action also highlights the role of Casa Navàs as a cultural symbol of Reus, capable of inspiring artistic and gastronomic projects that connect with the public in a close and accessible way.

With initiatives like this, Casa Navàs continues working to promote Modernist heritage from new perspectives, collaborating with local professionals and institutions to create proposals that combine culture, history and creativity.

The collaboration with Padreny pastry shop shows that heritage is not only preserved, but can also be reinterpreted and shared through original experiences that bring history closer to all audiences.
