The performance “Entreteles”, produced by the Casa Navàs Association, was made possible thanks to the support of the Diputación de Tarragona, which granted a subsidy of €7,477.20 to enable this cultural proposal within the 3rd edition of the Reus 1900. Modernist Festival.
Staged on October 11 and 12, 2025, in the former shop area (rebotiga) of Casa Navàs, “Entreteles” achieved outstanding success with a 100% occupancy rate, completing all 12 scheduled performances. The enhanced revival of the show featured a cast of nine professional actors from the region, new period costumes faithful to Modernist fashion, and a staging that reinforced the immersive and historically rigorous character of the production.
The project highlighted a unique heritage space — the shop and back room of Casa Navàs — transforming it into a living stage deeply connected to the building’s commercial history. Through performing arts, the show shed light on the importance of the textile trade in the economic and cultural development of Reus at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
At the same time, “Entreteles” promoted local artistic talent, supporting Km0 professionals and offering the community a distinctive cultural experience. By combining heritage, history and performing arts in an innovative and accessible format, the initiative strengthened the bond between audiences and this Modernist landmark.
Thanks to the support of the Diputación de Tarragona, Casa Navàs has reinforced its role as a leading cultural venue in the region. The initiative actively contributed to the promotion and preservation of the city’s Modernist heritage, achieving remarkable public attendance and highly positive audience feedback.
