Entrance hall
This is a large double-height space that recreates an ever-blooming indoor garden, featuring flowers and leaves crafted in carved stone, stained glass, metal, and marquetry. The floor is a mosaic made with marbles of different colors. This technique is know as Roman mosaic, and the artist responsible for creating it was Lluís Bru.
Dinning room
Decorated with fruit and vegetable motifs, with capitals referring to hunting and fishing, and a small gathering area around the fireplace, built with olive wood. The mosaic above the door stands out of the relief work on the faces of the figures.
This room, dedicated to social life, is decorated with photographs of the owners. The walls are upholstered with silk, the sofa features relief images, and at the center of the room hangs a golden lamp with floral motifs. The main gallery opens onto the Plaça del Mercadal, paved with Roman mosaic.
The predominant element in this space is wood, featuring exquisite examples of marquetry by Gaspar Homar, the leading cabinetmaker and decorator of Catalan Modernism.

A room intented for social life, decorated with photographs of the owners. The walls are upholstered in silk, the sofa is adorned with embossed images, and at the center of the room there is a golden lamp with floral motifs. The main gallery stants out, opening onto the Plaça del Mercadal, which is paved with Roman mosaic.
In this room we find some of the most modern gadgets of the period, such as the house’s original telephone.
Master bedroom and bathroom
The master bedroom consists of a sitting room and an alcove, separated by a partition made of stained glass and marquetry.
The ceiling of the sitting room stands out, with a flat vault covered in a ceramic mosaic that repeats the same decorative pattern as the room’s furniture.
The bedroom connects directly with the bathroom, decorated with a large stained-glass window and featuring original period fixtures: sinks, bathtub, bidet, and a footbath.
Kitchen
The kitchen occupies an important space on the noble floor, covered with ceramic, with a flat vaulted roof. The structure of the dumb waiter that connects it directly to the shop has been preserved. Here they had to prepare the meals for the Navàs family and the shop workers.
Leaving the kitchen we enter Mr. Navàs’ office and Mrs. Blasco’s room for sewing or receiving visits.
Terrace
The terrace offers a large outdoor space with ceramic mosaic planters on wrought-iron stands. On the terrace floor are the three large glass skylights that illuminate the shop, and on the walls, two large mosaics depict King James I departing from Salou by boat for the conquest of Mallorca, and an idealized view of the city of Thessaloniki, reflecting the presence of the Catalans in Greece.
Music chamber and interior balcony
Through the service staircase, made wrought iron, we access the second floor, with features ceramic wainscoting and hydraulic flooring.
This space that was probably intended for family use, but it also included the sleeping quarters for the servants. In the 1980s, it was converted into a music room, which gives the space its current appearance.
One of the highlights of this floor is the view from the upper galleries of the openings of the staircase and the entrance hall. Here, in addition to a clear view of the Roman mosaic floors, you can enjoy the rich interplay of transparencies created by the succession of stained-glass windows, which allows you to see a group of birds flying freely across an expansive sky.
