Some eighty tourism professionals and several French journalists visited Casa Navàs this Thursday. The experience combined a wine tasting and dinner in the old Navàs Blasco textile shop with a guided tour of the interior of the house.
The visit is part of the Costa Dorada Life programme organised by the Hotel and Tourism Business Federation of the province of Tarragona (FEHT) and the Tourism Board of the Provincial Council of Tarragona Costa Dorada, Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca within the tourism promotion plan of the Costa Dorada.
It is an innovative 01:00 famtrip with unique experiences, both from the point of view of leisure and culture, as well as recreational, gastronomic and scenic to enjoy in first person the entire tourist offer of the Costa Dorada.
The French is the most important foreign market of the territory, in FACT, almost 12% of overnight stays on the Costa Dorada in 2018 were French. At Casa Navàs, tourism from the neighbouring country represents 39.5% of international visitors and 10% of last year’s total visitors.
