Estigues al dia de tot allò que envolta la Casa Navàs

The Modernist Nights and the Vermouth visits are back

Autumn-Winter season

Although this is a complicated year, Casa Navàs stands, if pandemic let so, and will always stand for spreading the artistic heritage and culture. With this in mind, it will maintain the same opening days and all the activities that took place during the previous season. Furthermore, new events will be scheduled to be announced soon.

As usual, the facility can be visited from Monday to Sunday. Weekdays times are from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00, Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00.

Art Nouveau Evenings

Art Nouveau Evenings come back this October, including a guided tour with a live concert and dinner at the old textile shop. This event gives the visitors the chance of putting themselves into the shoes of the Reus bourgeoisie in the early 20th century.  It was very usual, between 1900 and 1930, to go to the theatre to see musical works performed by a violin and a piano and composed by the most famous Catalan composers at that time. After the concert, people were to the most fashionable bars, with a merrier atmosphere, and where the most popular and modern rhythms were played and danced. These two parts are the ones you could listen to performed by Garbuix Duet (Albert Galcerà i Albert Carbonell)

The next «Art Nouveau Evenings» dates will be the 30th of October, 27th of November, and 8 and 29 of January at 20:30. Cal Borrull is in charge of the supper, and the wines to be served are ‘Secrets de Casa Navàs’ (Casa Navàs’ secrets) white and red wines from the renowned winery Clos Galena.

Vermouth Visits

If there were a drink that represents the city of Reus, no doubt that’s the vermouth. That is the reason why Vermouth Visits are back next autumn-winter season, in collaboration with Vermuts Miró. Every Saturday and Sunday, those who want to attend the guided visit at 12:30, 13:00, or 13:30, will have the chance to spend a while at the terrace of the house tasting three different vermouths by Vermuts Miró: white, red, and Reserva.
