The managers and technical staff of the offices responsible for promoting tourism in Catalonia in the main international markets have made a familiarisation trip to the territory in order to publicise the main novelties on offer and incorporate them into their promotion strategies.

The City Projection Councillor, Montserrat Caelles, and the director of Casa Navàs, Sílvia Sagalà, were in charge of welcoming the group, recalling the main attractions of the city of Reus and Casa Navàs, and stressing the importance of this familiarisation visit so that the promoters of the Catalonia destination can get to know the offer first hand and promote it in their offices in London, Paris, Helsinki, Brussels, Milan, Moscow, Beijing, Singapore, New York, Sao Paulo and Madrid.

This is not the only familiarisation meeting organised, tomorrow some twenty guides from the company Barcelona Guide Bureau will visit Reus as part of a training day. Throughout the year, before the tourist season begins, they carry out various training and recycling activities. On this occasion, they decided to visit the city of Reus to deepen their knowledge of Antoni Gaudí, Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Modernism.

By means of this day of continuous training, and with in situ knowledge of the places, this team of guides aims to give the maximum quality in their services and to expand and recommend new itineraries.
