Ferran Adrià, one of the most prestigious chefs in the world, has visited Casa Navàs. He has done so within the framework of some private events that are held in this unique building where Adrià was the guest of honour. The chef has visited Casa Navàs along with the rest of the guests and was very impressed with the beauty of the Lluís Domènech i Montaner work. He affirms that there are very few houses in the world with the magnificence of this one and he was surprised by the precise work carried out by the craftsmen who shaped it one hundred years ago.
After visiting the house, Ferran Adrià has given a talk to the business people invited to the event. The old textile shop was the setting to hear how Adrià narrated the evolution of his professional career, from the beginnings of ‘El Bulli’ restaurant to its closure. The conference then concentrated on his new personal project, ‘ElBulli 1846’.
When the talk finished, Adrià individually spoke to each one of the attendees, who took advantage of the moment to ask him questions about his business, gastronomy, tourism and the economy in general. For the chef, there are no differences between large and small business, the key to success is effort and professionalism when undertaking the project.
